seeks expertise in engineering and technical services to support enterprise database management for big data, application support, data sharing, large-scale database operations, service oriented architecture (SOA) interface development and management, data architecture solutions, database development for legacy and new database architectures, and high volume replication support of consular systems. In order to comply with the fast paced changes inherent to big data processing and engineering, CA/CST requires that contractor services provide for rapid provisioning of highly experienced and trained individuals with big data, complex service development, large-scale database development and management backgrounds with large organizations. These activities include supporting the database infrastructure and engineering of Consular data and database operations worldwide, internal DOS and external agency data interfaces, and data access needs of application and system development efforts. The diversity of the applications dependent on CA’s enterprise database environment (visa, passport, biometrics, and other related systems) compound the integration of new and modern system requirements. The information security environment on the segments of CA’s secure enclave is a unique integration of products demanding a high degree of technical capability.
