The Data Analytics and Evaluation Support (DAES) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) provides the U.S. Department of Education with a range of data analytics, technical assistance, and evaluation services. Task orders under this vehicle primarily focus on data management, analysis, and reporting for various educational programs spanning preschool through postsecondary and adult education. Services include developing data repositories, conducting analytical studies, supporting data governance initiatives, and creating public-facing data products. Contractors also provide technical support for internal and external analyses, reports, and digital products pertaining to education across different levels.
Key task orders under this BPA range from approximately $300,000 to over $40 million, with durations typically between one and five years. Frequent prime contractors include Applied Enterprise Management Corporation, American Institutes for Research, Accenture Federal Services LLC, and Research Triangle Institute. The primary funding agency is the U.S. Department of Education, with task orders issued by various offices such as the Office of Planning, Evaluation and Policy Development, the Office of Elementary and Secondary Education, and the Office for Civil Rights. No set-aside designations were used for the reviewed task orders. Common places of performance include Arlington, Virginia, and Research Triangle Park, North Carolina.
