This federal contract award is for the DEA BLUESTONE program, awarded to the prime contractor Salient CRGT, Inc. by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). The contract has a potential ceiling value of $875,693,798.00 and utilizes the Alliant II GWAC. No set-aside designation is mentioned
DevSecOps and Agile approaches to help the DEA build an integrated IT infrastructure for 16,000 agency users as part of the “Bluestone” project.
The goal of the project is to increase system accessibility, usability and security by modernizing older networks and systems used to manage DEA business processes.
The mission of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is to enforce the controlled substances laws and regulations of the United States and bring to the criminal and civil justice system of the United States, or any other competent jurisdiction, those organizations and principal members of organizations, involved in the growing, manufacture, or distribution of controlled substances appearing in or destined for illicit traffic in the United States; and to recommend and support non-enforcement programs aimed at reducing the availability of illicit controlled substances on the domestic and international markets.
