This is a $147,633,657.01 Delivery Order contract awarded by the US Attorney's Offices to BAE Systems Technology Solutions & Services Inc. The contract is for NOC/TECHONE Services and does not have a set-aside designation. It is associated with the Alliant II contract vehicle, a multiple-award GWAC used by many federal agencies. As a prime contractor, BAE Systems has subcontracted portions of the work to various companies, including Blackstone Technology Group, Systemtec Inc., Virtual Workgroup Technologies, and others. The contract supports the MAVERICK II and ETOR programs, which involve specialized IT and technical services likely related to the Department of Justice's operations and mission.
Charged with ensuring “that the laws be faithfully executed,” the 93 United States Attorneys work to enforce federal laws throughout the country. The President appoints a United States Attorney to each of the 94 federal districts (Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands are separate districts but share a United States Attorney). The United States Attorney is the chief federal law enforcement officer in their district and is also involved in civil litigation where the United States is a party.
