Deep Dive Blue Team: DoS DS Security Technology Integration & Operations Support
Join us on November 10 at 3:30pm (EST) on Zoom for this extremely exciting opportunity at Department of State's Bureau of Diplomatic Security.
This is an opportunity that will consolidates multiple service areas under a single contractor, including Physical Security Information Management and high-definition security video operations, 24/7/365 operations center support, global security network operations, video analytics, 3-D facility modeling, IBM Maximo support, SharePoint application development, domestic alarm network administration and cybersecurity risk mitigation engineering.
The potential scale is significant. The Department’s SMSe network supports more than 250 overseas posts and thousands of IoT devices. HDSVS is deployed at more than 150 sites, with approximately an equal number remaining for conversion. Domestic security support covers more than 100 facilities. The draft PWS identifies 94 ITSS and 69 PSIM FTE positions under the current standalone contracts as of October 29, although staffing for the future STIOS requirement remains to be determined.
The contractor would operate co-located Security Technology Operations Center and Integrated Operations Center functions with 24/7/365 Tier 1 through Tier 3 support. The scope includes maintaining PSIM and HDSVS at 99.9 percent availability, integrating access control, intrusion detection, video and other security systems, and operating the global infrastructure supporting those capabilities.
Technology requirements extend beyond operations and maintenance. The draft scope includes video analytics such as perimeter intrusion, loitering, object detection, license plate recognition and facial recognition; Zero Trust principles for network operations; DevSecOps and cloud support for IBM Maximo; PowerApps and SharePoint development; RMF and continuous monitoring; and cybersecurity support for isolated operational technology networks.
During this session, we will go indepth into the opportunity, the organization, the current incumbents, the potential bidders and much more
Each registrant will receive the slide deck, the recording and the transcript.
