The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) is the federal institute responsible for conducting research and making recommendations for the prevention of work-related injury and illness. NIOSH is part of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), in the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS).
This is a federal contract award for NIOSH Information Technology Services (NITS) awarded to Alphasix, LLC, a service-disabled veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB) based in Sterling, Virginia. The contract has a ceiling value of $107,642,755.36 and is a Delivery Order under the Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) contract vehicle. The contract provides the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) with a range of IT services and solutions, including hardware, software, cloud services, cybersecurity tools, and professional IT support. Alphasix has established itself as a prime contractor on multiple government-wide acquisition contract vehicles, enabling it to efficiently supply IT products and services to various federal agencies. The contract does not have a set-aside designation.
The contract involves IT modernization, data analytics, cybersecurity, program management, and organizational transformation services for the National Library of Medicine.
