USDA’s Food and Nutrition Service leverages its 16 nutrition assistance programs to ensure children, income eligible individuals, and families have equitable access to healthy, safe, and affordable foods that promote optimal health and well-being, while building a more resilient food system. We accomplish this by partnering with over 175 states, U.S. territories, and Tribal organizations that operate federal nutrition programs. Our programs serve 1 in 4 Americans over the course of a year.
The FNS mission is to increase food security and reduce hunger in partnership with cooperating organizations by providing children and low-income people access to food, a healthy diet, and nutrition education in a manner that supports American agriculture and inspires public confidence.
 
This is a task order award under the USDA and USAID Web-Based Supply Chain Management (WBSCM) system contract, which is part of the Alliant II government-wide acquisition contract (GWAC). The purpose is to acquire information technology (IT) services to operate, maintain, and continuously improve the WBSCM system and its related subsystems. The contract has a ceiling value of $376,443,568.00 and does not have a set-aside designation. The prime contractor is CACI, Inc. - Federal, a subsidiary of CACI International Inc.
